The Forbidden Kingdom Review

i am an absolute die hard martial arts movie fan! nothing gets me going like a kung fu movie. and this movie absolutely delivered that adrenaline rush that you get when you watch two people flying across the screen and kicking the shit out of each other! i was sooooo excited to see jackie chan and jet li in THE SAME MOVIE! it was a dream come true.

the plot was definitely interesting and while i could see how the movie was going to end, it had a little twist that i wasnt expecting. oh and dont get me started on the fight sequences! phenomenal!!! the action choreographer was Yuen Woo-Ping. he is one of the greatest choreographers ever! you all may know his fight sequences from little movies like the matrix, crouching tiger, hiden dragon, oh yeah and kill bill. :-D so you know that if he's choreographing, then you will have some great sequences! so when it comes out on dvd i definitely recommend it to kung fu lovers everywhere!

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls Review

so the long awaited indiana jones movie...well as i'm sure you've heard, everyone is saying that its a horrible movie. well i just watched it and i would have to say that i TOTALLY disagree. i think it was a great movie. everyone is saying that the plot is ridiculous and far-fetched (maybe to the typical small-minded person) but i loved how it actually kept me guessing. i never would have thought what happened was what was going to happen. and everyone knows that i am notorious for knowing endings of movies within the first five minutes of the film. so all in all, i would say that if you are a person who can think outside of the box, you will love this movie.

and it didn't help that one of my top FBD's was in the movie...



oh and also, was it just me, or did it seem like the ending was foreshadowing? :-D

Brit Brit....is a MAN?

so strolling through LoveBScott.com again and came across this video...





and i absolutely loved it!!! that was fabulous. his performance was phenomenal! better than brit brit did at the MTV video awards! i cant believe how much hasselhoff was enamored by derrick and it was hilarious. i love how they all thought he was actually a woman! i love it when my womanish ways and looks get the same sentiment from people. and when they realize i'm not a woman(well, not a full woman anyways :-D), the expression and utter shock is priceless. and what's even funnier is when they don't ever catch on! :-D

Heinz Commercial Pulled in the UK

so heinz made a commercial for its deli mayo which had a father, a deli cook, and two kids in a kitchen. during the commercial the kids refer to the deli cook as "mum" and at the end the deli cook sends the father off to work with a kiss. nothing offensive about that right? kind of cute, if you ask me. but no not to 202 people who complained about the ad and forced heinz to pull it. i think that people really need to get over themselves and realize that they are not the only people who live on this planet. we come in all shapes and types and if you dont like it then too bad! with gay marriage winning more ground as time goes on, people really need to get used to the idea that there will be that very scenario happening in kitchens all over the world! i still dont see why everyone still has a problem with gay love. love is love in my eyes. and really it doesnt involve anyone but the people who are in love with eachother. so to all those people that felt they needed to complain about the commercial, i only have one thing to say to you: if you didnt like it, all you had to do was turn the channel...

You Don't Mess With The Zohan Review

first of all let me say that i love adam sandler. and when i say love i mean LOVE! he's one of my FBDs (Future Baby Daddy's). and i equally love this movie. it is one of the most intelligent stupid movies(if that makes sense :-D) that i've seen in awhile. i loved the overall message of the movie. its nice to see people trying to promote a little peace now and then. although it would have been nice if the Palestinians weren't always the butt of the joke in the movie. But adam sandler is jewish after all so i guess it's to be expected. but i still think its a definite must see!

Coco the pet....skunk?

lawd have mercy! i ran into this video today while i was on LoveBScott.com. i really don't understand why people think that they can just make anything a pet. first it was a rock, now its a skunk. what are this little girl's parents thinking letting her keep a skunk in their house. There is no way that that would ever and i mean EVER happen in my house! Oh no ma'am! now don't get me wrong, i love animals but i HATE pets. i believe that animals should not be confined to live inside a cage in someone's home when their natural habitat is the wild. it just seems like animal cruelty to me...

George Carlin dies at 71

Comedian George Carlin passed away this Sunday at the age of 71 from heart failure. The comedic icon was famous for his show on the "Seven Words" which are taboo on tv to this day and caused a Supreme Court decision on offensive language in the media. It's always sad to see someone with true comedic genius pass. Check out a clip from one of his standup specials here
